I like this laptop, but . .

I guess I type too hard or lay my hands on it too hard, as I am constantly getting words mixed together.

For example, the sentence above may turn out like:

I guess I type too hard or lay my hands on it getting words mixed together. too hard, as I am constantly

Anyone else have this issue, and if so, how did you prevent it?

are yout alkinga bout when you are typing and sometimes your cursor jumps to the middle of what you are typing?

if so only way i found to solve this was to turn off the touch pad and just use an external mouse

Maybe it's your touchpad 'sensing' movement and relocating your cursor as you're typing. *hence why I can't STAND touchpads*

Like everyone else said, it's the touchpad.

That crossed my mind, but I have been making a concerted effort to avoid it.

I use an external mouse anyway, know how to turn off the touch pad?
