Is google at it again?

I noticed weird changes today for one of my sites that I have been working on for the last few weeks. Today google finally indexed about 200 pages and I noticed big shifts in the serps for my site. I just checked back and all those pages are gone again and the results are back as they were in the past (I'm sure this is a temporary thing). Anybody else noticed changes (big or small)?
I checked some seo forums and it seems google is slowly applying it's new algoritm to the index but this is a long term proces and not like the way google applied new algoritms in the past wich were done very fast = 1 to 3 days.

Could also be the case, site has only been online for a few months, it's good to see all my seo efforts are starting to generate results. Still I'm not sure if this is only related to google's sandbox.

I'm also seeing improvements for another one of my sites that has been online for almost a year so. This might explain a few things http://forums.seochat.com/google-opt...ate-98627.html
