![]() Ok I am trying out a new program this week with some new traffic and I was looking at the stats page on the site and I see this.
![]() Ok everything looks fine so far since its just starting out. And I understand Raw hits are always higher then Uniques and why. But if I goto the total uniques and click on it to look at the breakdown or click on any day for that matter the uniques don't even come close. Like here when I looked at the current total. ![]() Why would there be a 75 unique hit difference? Now its not just this program, I feed traffic to several others and see the same thing. Am I missing something here or my brain isn't seeing the obvious? wc2 |

They probably just show the referrers that they can track.

So does that mean they can't track 70% of my traffic.... since 75 out of 106 isn't showing up and if there are any sales from that I will not get credited for them. Because that seems very wrong since 95% of the traffic is coming from the same sites.

Its because they shave.
You should ONLY promote www.realitycash.com - everyone else shave |

Well I would say they don't shave and there must be some other reason since this program uses NATS and I am sure from the past week or two's drama, something would have been said about it if they were shaving.
Realitycash doesn't have the niche I am looking to promote right now, so they are out. wc2 |

When we can not figure out a referrer it is not listed for clicks, if a sale comes from a location we do not have a refering url for then it gets registered as bookmark, but of course you still get money for it.

Well I was hoping it worked that way Nathan. I just know when I am promoting say NastyDollars there is a line that says "No Referring URL" and then the number so everything still adds up at the end of the day.
The way I look at it is, if I can't see the numbers then I always have something in the back of my head saying "Hmmm..wonder whats going on or being tracked" Sadly in the many years I have been doing this I have been burned once or twice on different aspects of the industry... So hard to trust new people right off the hop like I use too. wc2 |
