Yes, I appreciate that as well EpicJim. All I'm asking is that threads about the charity event are layed off of, and new inappropriate ones related to it are stopped.

JimTheFiend can go back to calling me an HIV Infested Faggot after it's over, or in unrelated threads.

Sure wasn't so I did a search and the only thing I found was p1mpdogg making a thread saying "BoyAlley I want to buy your sig for $10,000"

Nobody on this board believed that before, during, or after, it was posted and it did not affect the sale of the signature in any way, shape, or form. Unless posts were deleted or the search is broke I see nothing else.

So far, EpicCash has posted false bids, started misleading threads, and have attempted to blatantly mock and sabotage this charity event's outcome.

The Free Speech Coalition is a worthy organization that many in the adult entertainment industry rely on as a first line of defense against an ultra-conservative administration.

Why on earth, EpicCash has decided that they would try to hijack this charity event as a free way to promote itself is above and beyond me.

While so many companies and individuals have stepped forward to place bids, donate what they could as perks, or even to just keep threads alive, EpicCash has stepped forward as a parasitic leech.

I hope all that have been reading this keep that in mind.

It's time that we as an industry show companies like EpicCash that such actions will no longer be tolerated as acceptable forms of self promotion.

Exactly what type of company do you want to be supporting with YOUR efforts?
Back in the day, trash like Trey and his company would be shunned from the business. Today, sadly, there is room for this trash to take root and grow.
I won't have it once I return to adult and may even offer a bounty for thoase who would leave these trash companies and sign up with me instead.
My conversions will be better, I won't have a shave, and I won't embarrass our industry.
who's with me?

In retrospect, in all fairness...there are plenty of affiliate programs that act with complete class on the boards and still shave your ass off

Amen..... i'm with you and feel the same way and plan on steping back into the membership site/affiliate program arena in the not so far future.

epiccash is no different then 2 dozen other canned, off the shelf, affiliate companies here. The only difference with them is that they have a big loud dump ass unprofessional mentality to their business model. Unfortunetly some people think this is cool, but I doubt these are the type of people that will be in this industry for long or will actually make a lot of money.

Sadly, with all the static that the trash create in this biz, its sometimes hard to hear the good guys.

seriously, disrupting an FSC function? who is protecting us right now while all this 2257 shit goes down?

if anything, people should put aside their bullshit for a fundraiser like this. Everyone in the industry benefits from the FSC. I'm a proud member and have been for a while.

Many years ago, p1mpdogg was banned from this board for much milder behaviour (simply saying "see sig"). The actual word "Epic" was banned and so was the URL. It did nothing but help them grow. I signed up at that point as did many others.

A year or two after that, Trey was back on the board and causing a ruckus yet again. Those flying an Epic Cash banner in their sig can attest first hand to the eyeballs he brings. I've had referral incoming flowing in for years from Epic Cash.

You can say what you want about Trey, JimTheFiend or whoever else. It's irrelevant. The program itself is a solid program that has constantly grown since it's inception. I've never had a late payment, I've never seen a discrepancy between hits displayed and hits sent and their sites convert incredibly well. Knock Trey and JTF all you want, they bring it upon themselves. But don't knock the program unless you've sent traffic yourself and had a bad experience.

So which name where you using back then ?

So you are saying that you put an epiccash banner in your sig so you could make referral money and people signed up through your banner because the liked Trey's asshole posting style ? Makes no sense. Wouldn't they click his sig then if they thought he was cool or just type in the website address or click the banner on top of the site ?

And what you described about the program could be said for 100 programs here, that pay on time, convert, etc...

I never said they were unique. I simply said they're a solid program, regardless of the facade some of their employees put on.

Trey rarely flies a banner in his sig. He rarely even has it linked to Epic Cash. For months, it was linked to Epic Feeds. And for months before that, it simply said EpicCash.com, unlinked.

Yes, I put a nice shiny banner in my sig and people clicked it, signed up and sent sales. As to why they did it, I couldn't care less. Fact is, they did and it made me money. Not Team Click Cash money, but some nice spending cash nonetheless.

This is from a few years ago and covers a few months. Multiply $600 by 20 (5% referral commission) and we're talking over $12K in sales. So it's not just piddling nobodies with minimal traffic clicking on sigs during drama.

Maybe I missed something here but 10 ppl to the join page and 35 signups and 5% commission on those sign ups paid you $600+? That would mean 35 signups cost members $12000 so a membership is what $350 bucks???

I don't know what's up with the join page stats. Most of the months, the join page stats aren't recorded at all, and then for a few months, there's a handful of joins recorded.

The signups displayed are webmaster signups. So there were 2014 clicks on the banner, 35 webmasters signed up and they sent $12000+ in sales during this period.

EpicCash has so tarnished their image in recent weeks, to the point of a banning for p1mpdog and GFY not taking their ads, that I think it would be a good gesture for them to be the high bidder in the Boy Alley sig auction.

They should take the money they would have spent on GFY ads, and whatever it will take to make up the high bid, and get back on the road towards being a respected part of the community once again.

BTW, is the sig tax deductable? Could be an extra incentive for someone, even if EpicCash can't afford to bid on it.

I think a sticky is in order for the final day of bidding as well...
