Sapphic Cash I don't understand?

I was reviewing their program through gfy ad . these guys will let you signup

https://affiliate.sapphiccash.com/signup.php

Israel is at the drop down list , that will encourage you to signup and send them traffic .But when you will make them sales and owed cash , they will probablly send you to their TOS :
http://sapphiccash.com/external.php?page=terms
which has Israel on their banned countries list .

I already posted thread about sponsors who are doing this trick at :
http://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/643905-banned-sponsors-800k-daily-traffic.html

Welcome to my banned sponsors list , sapphic cash .

I should think a program's TOS should be read BEFORE signing up.

I'm not familiar with the interworkings of NATS, but perhaps the dropdown list is pre-populated as default during install. Should they edit out countries they won't accept, perhaps, but this doesn't make them scums.

You should have contacted them and addressed your issues. They always respond and in a timely manner. They may have even made in exception in your case.

Did you think about contacting them to double check and make sure it's not a mistake?

what about simply contacting and talking to them? if you got some sites to show them and they see you are legit no one will have problems with you promoting them, no matter where you're from.

instead you choose to come here and cry before even trying to ask them. so if i were them i would ban you for lifetime, even if you were the president of the USA - you're one of those that cry, complain and send 20 hits per month

thanks for reading

So you added them to your banned list and created a misleading thread because they probably, might, possibly withold your money but you're really not sure because you haven't sent them any traffic yet and you haven't exactly asked them about it.

It doesn't matter how fast they respond when ppl contact them , nor that the nats dropdown has all countries by default . What matters is that they tempt you to signup and send traffic while they dont intend to pay you .

i would maybe contact them to make sure they accept me IF i wouldn't find them trying to scam webmasters .

true dat but why do they let him sign up then??? shady to say the least, it shouldn't be that difficult to incorporate their banned countries' list into the signup form, no?

Somtimes mistakes are made. And making a TOS mistake without applying it is sure as hell not a big one.

I'mfairly sure Sapphic never ended a webmaster account for no reason (even thought their tOS states they could).

They didn't became the biggest lesbian sponsor program by terminating affiliates accounts.

Before you call somebody a scum just do a little research about the compagny. I understand you are bitter at the world because lots of them don't allow webmasters from some forgein countries, but you can contact any of them and work it out with your traffic.

wrong. if you had ran a webmaster program and it was your merchant account on the line, and you were the one paying persistent idiots in Krapistan for fraudulent joins while seeing the chargebacks 2 months later, from those joins come in, you would understand that many countries just aren't worth dealing with and any potential benefit doesn't outweigh the risks and costs.

seems like for the most part this is a problem with them(and others ) not knowing how to edit the countries list, it sucks but hey it only takes a second to contact them..

And that the real webmasters will come to you and ask if they can join... you can screen them.

first of all, I have and do run a programss - so I am well aware of what your talking about.. I wouldnt really call Isreal one of those types of places - everything should be done on an individual basis and with the proper controls - not with an overall ban blanket in affect

So if you're big enough , your fraud attempt automaticly becomes a mistake , ok got it .

why should i be bitter ? in my case i will replace them with 100's of other sponsors . in their case they just lost a network with over 800k traffic .

well... you said it doesn't matter what country someone is from. not "isreal". it does matter. it matters a lot. the more sales you do (i.e. 100's a day) you will see clear patterns in risk vs rewards. there is a very strong argument that its easier to ban webmasters from the ukraine or russia and similar places than to deal with the fraud and bullshit. and if you are so naive that you are going to suggest that you have the perfect set of "proper controls" that can effectively weed out the 90% of scammers and just keep "the good webmasters", then you should be busy trying to figure out how to sell that... Epoch, CCbill and others would pay millions.

i guess if you are busy trying to do one join a day... that makes sense. if you have an IQ above 30, you can easily spend your time doing productive thigns like making money... not babysitting scammers.

if you actually ran a webmaster program as you said, you would know that about 10% of webmasters are going to send you about 90% of sales. babysitting the other 90% that send a join a month and are high risk on top of that, is not a sound or responsible investment.

the blanket ban approach well maybe affective to kill a large amount of fraud, also kills some good business - I've had fraud happen from webmasters in USA and Canada also, as I am sure many program owners have - focus on profiling by individual and work from there

your free todo what ever you want - if you don't want to deal with certain countries - thats cool - I'm just laying out how I work and approach this biz

my shit does very very well, and its more like 5% of the webmasters and traffic sources sending 90% of the sales...

Despite the fact that this post doesnt really deserve a response, here it is.

Yes we have a banned country list. However, we manually screen every new affiliate (before they are giving access to links etc or able to send a join). We do work with many affiliates from countries on our banned list, but we also need to reject alot of applications that look suspicious or terminate affiliates based on fraud. The countries in our list represent where the majority of fraud comes from. Without a banned list, we wouldnt have a valid reason to deny a new afilliate.

Once an affiliate is approved we do not terminate accounts without a valid reason, simply being on the banned list isn?t one of them.

Had you contacted us to query this you might have been welcome to promote us. As it stands, we do not need affiliates with an attitutude such as yours.

i guess you should ban USA then, because theres WAY more fraudulent people there then in any other country

you're a genius.

oh wait... no your not.

is risk/costs vs. rewards that difficult a concept to grasp? or you think people ban webmasters or transaction by countries just out of spite and racism?

TOS - explains all the rules and supercedes and pulldown options.

It does not sound like you read the TOS *before* signing up.

banning a whole country because its known to produce some pretty bad people is no reason... your answer is to keep america because its got most of the webs webmasters and shit.. thats the only reason you won't ban USA... but any other country you have no problem with... don't be a fucking idiot yourself

you can't be this dumb.

let me spell it out one more time. risk vs. reward. whole countries are banned becuase they tend to produce a disproportionate amount of fraud... dipshit.

its nothing new, i didn't think of it and i wasn't the first to do it. your logic insists that people just leave money on the table because they are dumb, shortsighted or racist or whatever. thats because you just don't know what you are talking about and your ignorant assumptions don't leave room for any real explanation that makes sense.

spend your time trying to do more than a join a week, then come back and lecture on credit card processing, fraud, controlling fraud and fraud by countries.

hey pp

it seems when someone has a different view from your 'perfect vision' you seem to get bent out of shape - i've seen it before here - just my observation - maybe just take a chill pill once in a while.. you can still run your biz like you like.

Hummmmm, if it IS an honest mistake then again, you're out of line with your comments. You're also making an assumption they won't pay you.

I understand the adult industry is full of webmasters who spend half their time looking for "shady" programs ... I know, I get hit up on ICQ daily by guys bragging how they found one program shaves, etc. blah blah blah

It seems they - like you - automatically assume these programs are out to screw you every chance they get.

CHILL OUT!

Why not spend more time being productive and less time being mr. junior detective?

And if you are so concerned it was intentionally deceptive, then the first thing to do would still have contacted them before posting. Then, if they came back with a lame excuse etc. your argument has some validity.

run your business anyway you want. why would i care? you both have said "its like this...." as a statement of fact and you both are far from correct, not to mention completely irrational in your remarks and assumptions.

chill? don't flatter yourself, its all just pixels on a monitor to me.

Bad analogy.
That is called attempted murder.
Attempted murder is wrong.
