The Florida Marlins are stupid, stupid, stupid
How the hell do you fire a manager from a team that was supposed to lose 100 games this year, and he leads them to a season where they were in playoff contention until late September?!?!?!?!
All I can say is that this is good news for Girardi, who would have had to manage in Florida for two more years for peanuts. Now he'll get either the Cubs job, or possibly the Yankees job if Torre retires. Stupid, stupid, stupid move by the Marlins.
