The idea has been done 14,000,001 times, just seems so fucking stale. An extremely small minority of humanity begins to evolve and gains extraordinary super powers, usually joe schmo’s who are very unimportant in life [basically unnoticed] and the powers they get are ass-backwards of their persona/personality [ala air headed cheerleader with super strength]. How come we never see Mayors or Generals gaining super powers and going on rampages fixing elections or killing Iraqis left and right? Bleh.
