save money, and make your own content. want the best of your time? dress up like girls, and smear lipstick all over eachother. then act like your screwing little teddy bears.

25/25/25/25 partnership sounds like what you are looking for, unless someone is investing more, doing more work etc..

Try searching google for partnership contracts, or if it's gona be making a lot of money, I'd advise a professional lawyer in case of future disputes over profits, decisions etc.

NEVER GET A BUSINESS PARTNER, NOT EVEN 1 !!! 4 IS WAY TOO MUCH, IT WILL BE YEARS BEFORE YOU'LL START SEEING SOME PROFIT FOR YOURSELF. IF THE PARTNERSHIP LASTS THAT LONG WHICH I DOUBT.

THATS MY ADVICE TO YOU !!!

That was real optimistic Goonx

... although you might be right.

But, since you are only talking about a website and not a fortune 500 company don't be afraid to use incorporate.com and form your corp. You might make some money out of this partnership and if you don't you will definitely learn enough to do something on your own easily if this fails. Those lessons are worth it. Don't be afraid of failing with this partnership, just be afraid of losing too much time trying to make it work and getting stressed. If it starts to look bad go to plan B QUICKLY!

Good Luck!

I can somewhat agree to this. Partners complicate a lot of things, and typically you will not agree on anything. I would only get partners if you REALLY REALLY trust them, or if they are silent partners and let you run the show your way, with their capital.

See, i think this is where a lot of people go wrong. You shouldn't get a partner 'cause you trust them. You get a partner 'cause you NEED one. What's the point otherwise?

Kross, what you have to ask yourself is this. Can each of these people actually contribute something worthwhile to the partnership? What is it? Skills, talent, capital? Weed out what you don't need. It'll work better for everyone who's really involved.

Once you have established what you need, then you start asking yourself about trust.

Goonx you're right!
It's better to start a biz alone. If you're a team and the biz will fail you'll blame each other, if it's gonna work you'll split and everybody will start his own biz.
so why don't start it alone from the begining?
