I heard Six Flags was going to be closing soon so I decided to make a trip with some of my friends to check out some of the newer rides on Saturday. If you like rollercoasters then "Tatsu" is definitely the ride to go on! You can obviously tell by the expression on my face (On the right).

I was pretty bitter when I got there and saw that "X" was closed, it was one of the main reasons I went. But at the same time, I would rather it be safe enough to ride.

Dont need to go on a "Final Destination" ride.

Cedar Point hands down best rollercoasters ... but when I can't make it to Ohio, heh, I'll take anything I can get.

The Superman at Six Flags is pretty cool ...

I went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The place was almost empty so i could go on most rides a few times. The Tatsu ride and the Riddlers revenge were my faves. So much fun

Yes X was closed when i was there too. I hope to get back again before the park closes. Does anyone have any idea when the park will close for good?

I did hear from someone the other day that Magic Mountain is not 100% for sure going to close down.....it is one of the parks in the Six Flags chain that is up for sale, though-the new management in charge of Six Flags wants parks more oriented towards families with really young kids, so they are trying to downplay the "Xtreme" image and want to sell off Magic Mountain as it is pretty much all thrill rides. They are selling 2007 Season Passes (just got a renewal notice the other day), so maybe not. I talked to someone who works there and they said that a few other theme park chains have been looking at buying it, including Busch Gardens.
