forget about will, jtf, lars, etc....
whats funny to me about this whole zango thing, is that people seem to be taking sides based on how much they like a person. apparently, a lot of people are failing to understand what the long-term repercussions are of adware (zango or other)... i am not sure if it's because 95% of the people on GFY make less than $5k a month and wont notice a lost sale or two a day, or if surfers now run this forum. in either case, zango and adware are bad for all of us. if will wants to be the mouthpiece for this fight than so be it. whether it's will or someone else, it needs to be said... i am pretty distraught by some of the comments i have seen and threads started that poke fun of will. i dont care about how you may feel about will, but his message is one that is needed. the adult community needs to understand that there are a lot worse things that can be done do a surfer beyond adware. i fear that we as an industry are moving towards an attitude of "if they can do it, then so can i"... if thats the direction we are headed in, i hope the 95% of people that seem to be supporting this whole zango issue understand that the other 5% has the money and resources to make zango seem like an ice cream sundae... |
