Stats are fine. Do you really expect sales to stay where they are at? It's not like people buy more and more fleshlights each month. There is nothing new about fleshlights. People who sign up for porn sites will probably always sign up for them. If something new comes out and looks good, they will join. People who buy fleshlights don't buy more. It's a one time thing. Once the market gets satuarated, that's that.

More people will join a porn site than will have sex with a flashlight. Maybe the majority of the people who like fleshlights already have them.

sure, everything is fine: The fact we went from 1-2 sales a day, to 0 sales for more then two months now, and it changed the EXACT day they got nats - thats just coincidence. sure, I was wrong - nothing to see here

Are you really trying to say that out of the millions and millions of people surfing for porn and sex toys, that they've already completely saturated the market? I mean dildos and sex toys have been around forever and still seem to sell. Are you telling me that fleshlight has done what no other sex toy in the world has ever done; completely saturate the market and sell to every person willing to buy the product?

I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in here.

Yes, there were problems with the Fleshlight Integration when they first migrated to NATS. Those issues were never denied and have been fixed for some time now. I am not familiar first hand with their ratios but from speaking with CT overall the program is doing well.

To those who feel something is not being done right or still broken why not try buying one yourself and making sure the sale posts. If you find otherwise please let myself and/or CT know so we can immediately find out why. There is always room for problems however rambling on and screaming about them rather than offering some constructive help doesn't solve anyone's problem.

If you have any input or any specific issues you have seen please contact us. We all (TMM and Fleshlight) want everyone to get what they deserve and profit from their program.

The stats are a work in progress. They could be better, sure, but theyre already a lot better than they used to be under the older program

I think people need to stop comparing ratios to their porn traffic.

First, Fleshlight is not a instant gratification buy. If you put it in front of surfers looking for instant gratification, you'll fail miserably. To throw a banner ad up on your blog or TGP and expect it to convert and bring in as much money as an instant gratification porn site is just plain silly. It's a different type of traffic that you're looking for.

With that said, Fleshlight should be used with specific traffic. Traffic that involves ordering things such as DVDs, sex toys, and so on are great. I'm sure it does well in members sections of paysites as upsells. It also probably does well in newsletters.

But picture your average surfer. He's got his dick out, he's looking at porn videos, and you think he's going to stop, pull out his credit card, and order a sex toy that will arrive in a week or two? I don't think it's Fleshlight or NATS that is the problem, it's people trying to market a product like that to their instant gratification audience (note that Fleshlight has marketed themselves as a product that can sell to that type of audience and should get some of the blame).

Wow, I am actually pretty shocked to hear these complaints. We are currently running a site wide (including affiliates) 1:277 for the last 30 days. I was under the impression that all of the initial integration issues have been addressed and resolved. While we try to stay as active as we can in monitoring our affiliate traffic, it is nearly impossible to know every issue an affiliate may be having.

Before NATS was implemented, our cookie system was much different. We had lifetime LOCKED cookies, which was mostly beneficial to affiliates with large traffic, SEO listings... and even junk traffic could be highly profitable at that time. I know I have had personal conversations with a couple of you that posted in this thread, and we have discussed this issue in depth explaining why your ratios have dropped.

To address the product saturation issue, I would like to point out that while Fleshlight is a highly brand able name... we are nowhere NEAR product/market saturation. As with any other product/site, if you are not acquiring new customers on a consistent basis, then you would be stuck trying to sell the same product to the same customer.

There are many reasons why people buy Fleshlights, and I know for a fact that not every person settles with just one. The very reason our product was invented was out of necessity. (high-risk pregnancy)
The following scenarios are examples of what drives us to expand on a daily basis:

Guys think about sex ALL day
Traveling businessmen need a ?mistress? for the road
Guys turn 18 everyday.
Guys break break-up with their girlfriend/wife/partner everyday.
Guys see the internet for the first time everyday.
Guys go away to the military/college everyday.
Guys get rejected everyday (2am booty calls are not always successful).
Couples look to spice things up everyday.
Long-distance relationships lead to alternative measures.
Guys realize their hand is getting boring everyday.
The cost of hookers adds up after a while.
Fleshlight customers find a reason to add a different Fleshlight to their collection ? everyday

Then there is the Fleshlight customer who uses it, loves it, but because of the opposite for one of the above listed reasons, says goodbye to his Fleshlight. We know that if/when one of the above listed reasons re-occurs, he WILL be back. We strive to make the best, high quality product, and our customers make it a point to let us know.

I have no way of knowing there is a problem unless it is brought to my attention.
Josh does his best to stay on top of the questions on the forums as well as spends a lot of one-on-one time with affiliates to get them everything they need to help increase sales. If you feel that there is some sort of tracking problem, we would be more than happy to show you how to place a test order.

So if there is anyone that is having problems with Fleshlight whatsoever... please let us know and we will do our best to try and resolve the issue.

But what is the breakdown for different types of traffic. I'm sure your site probably converts under 1:100 on sex toy traffic. I'd guess it does even better on male sex toy traffic. It probably converts very well in members areas too.

But what's the conversion ratio on TGP traffic? Blog traffic? etc. I'm guessing that most of the people complaining have that kind of traffic.

I apologize, I didn't see how many people had a difference in pre-NATS to post-NATS. Still, I think people have been complaining about Fleshlight ratios for a long time now (well before NATS). It could also have to do with them raising the prices on an already expensive product. Increasing your price by 20% isn't a small thing. I wonder how the ratio would be if the product was $30.

And lastly, you're right. Plenty of other products on the market to sell.

they are right about the dvd and toy sales. In my members area 1/3 of members have one, I also have a page that offers 3 free dvd's if they get one and everytime someone has bought one and they email me for their 3 free dvd's it shows up in my stats. I never used them before nats and i don't see how it can get any better.

Until I went looking for alternatives, I didn't realize how "expensive" it really was. There are a lot of (probably inferior) similar products in the $20-$30 range so you could be right about the price thing.

Last two months haven't been good for fleshlight, before that they converted fine. I'm not happy about the commission cut. 18$ for selling a fleshlight isn't a lot of money. Turn that into euros and it will almost not be worth it to promote them. Fleshlight ain't a bad product and it still converts for me, not great but all little bits help. Saturation palmed in the market place. Every person who looks at online porn heard about the fleshlight so I don't see sales improve again for this product. It's just something to sell on the side.

We do not like to air dirty laundry, and will only reply to specifics if push comes to shove. You and I both know that the switch to NATS was not the primary reason for your drop in sales. You were breaking our terms of service, and I believe we both came to an amicable solution, when I had every right to cut you off completely.

I find it funny that after the entire situation, you have the nerve to try and accuse US of shaving. We have never denied that NATS was a far from seamless migration (because NATS was not originally designed for tangible products), but both NATS and Fleshlight feel that everything is stable and accurate... and has been for some time.

I saw such a gallery where Raven Riley used one, it was a nice change to see something like this and I'm sure it would wake up the curiousity of many surfers who don't know what a fleshlight is even today and help to boost sales.

Why would you take a successful program and change it to where affiliates needed to update their links?

Why is using NATS so "worth it" that you would risk affiliates not being happy and quitting your program?

Yes, there were problems with the Fleshlight Integration when they first migrated to NATS. Those issues were never denied and have been fixed for some time now. I am not familiar first hand with their ratios but from speaking with CT overall the program is doing well. To those who feel something is not being done right or still broken why not try buying one yourself and making sure the sale posts. If you find otherwise please let myself and/or CT know so we can immediately find out why. There is always room for problems however rambling on and screaming about them rather than offering some constructive help doesn't solve anyone's problem. It's not like people buy more and more fleshlights each month. There is nothing new about fleshlights. People who sign up for porn sites will probably always sign up for them. If something new comes out and looks good, they will join. People who buy fleshlights don't buy more. It's a one time thing. Once the market gets satuarated, that's that. First, Fleshlight is not a instant gratification buy. If you put it in front of surfers looking for instant gratification, you'll fail miserably. To throw a banner ad up on your blog or TGP and expect it to convert and bring in as much money as an instant gratification porn site is just plain silly. It's a different type of traffic that you're looking for. With that said, Fleshlight should be used with specific traffic. Traffic that involves ordering things such as DVDs, sex toys, and so on are great. I'm sure it does well in members sections of paysites as upsells. It also probably does well in newsletters. But picture your average surfer. He's got his dick out, he's looking at porn videos, and you think he's going to stop, pull out his credit card, and order a sex toy that will arrive in a week or two? I don't think it's Fleshlight or NATS that is the problem, it's people trying to market a product like that to their instant gratification audience (note that Fleshlight has marketed themselves as a product that can sell to that type of audience and should get some of the blame).

We are currently running a site wide (including affiliates) 1:277 for the last 30 days. I was under the impression that all of the initial integration issues have been addressed and resolved. While we try to stay as active as we can in monitoring our affiliate traffic, it is nearly impossible to know every issue an affiliate may be having. Before NATS was implemented, our cookie system was much different. We had lifetime LOCKED cookies, which was mostly beneficial to affiliates with large traffic, SEO listings... and even junk traffic could be highly profitable at that time. I know I have had personal conversations with a couple of you that posted in this thread, and we have discussed this issue in depth explaining why your ratios have dropped. To address the product saturation issue, I would like to point out that while Fleshlight is a highly brand able name... we are nowhere NEAR product/market saturation. As with any other product/site, if you are not acquiring new customers on a consistent basis, then you would be stuck trying to sell the same product to the same customer. There are many reasons why people buy Fleshlights, and I know for a fact that not every person settles with just one. The very reason our product was invented was out of necessity. (high-risk pregnancy) The following scenarios are examples of what drives us to expand on a daily basis: Guys think about sex ALL day Traveling businessmen need a ?mistress? for the road Guys turn 18 everyday. Guys break break-up with their girlfriend/wife/partner everyday. Guys see the internet for the first time everyday. Guys go away to the military/college everyday. Guys get rejected everyday (2am booty calls are not always successful). Couples look to spice things up everyday. Long-distance relationships lead to alternative measures. Guys realize their hand is getting boring everyday. The cost of hookers adds up after a while. Fleshlight customers find a reason to add a different Fleshlight to their collection ? everyday Then there is the Fleshlight customer who uses it, loves it, but because of the opposite for one of the above listed reasons, says goodbye to his Fleshlight. We know that if/when one of the above listed reasons re-occurs, he WILL be back. We strive to make the best, high quality product, and our customers make it a point to let us know. I have no way of knowing there is a problem unless it is brought to my attention. Josh does his best to stay on top of the questions on the forums as well as spends a lot of one-on-one time with affiliates to get them everything they need to help increase sales. If you feel that there is some sort of tracking problem, we would be more than happy to show you how to place a test order. In my members area 1/3 of members have one, I also have a page that offers 3 free dvd's if they get one and everytime someone has bought one and they email me for their 3 free dvd's it shows up in my stats. I'm not happy about the commission cut. 18$ for selling a fleshlight isn't a lot of money. Turn that into euros and it will almost not be worth it to promote them. Fleshlight ain't a bad product and it still converts for me, not great but all little bits help. Saturation palmed in the market place. Every person who looks at online porn heard about the fleshlight so I don't see sales improve again for this product. It's just something to sell on the side. __________________
