I beta tested it awile back when they first offered it and didn't like it.

Now, I have it installed on my laptop since I was stupid enough to allow for auto updates to go.

I've had this on for 3 days now and it locks up and crashes a lot.

Anyone else have similar problems? And does anyone know the cause and/or solution.

I should have just stayed with Firefox.

i also havent had any problems yet, but it's much slower than ie6, much more 'heavy'. You can simply uninstall it though

Try installing this IE7-KB928089-WindowsXP-x86-enu (it worked for me)
it's a first update for IE7

p.s. it for Windows xp

I'll install whatever version of IE the majority of surfers are using just for testing purposes but I did give it a brief whirl... it sucked.
