Muslim in name maybe, not in conviction I guess (after all you drink alcohol which is forbidden). But hey more power to you, people are afraid of Islam because they see nations like Iran, Saudi, Afghanistan, etc and an overwhelming inability for religious Muslims to allow the kind of freedoms Westerners (and I myself I might add) believe should be universal. Turkey obviously doesn't fall into the same grouping as Saudi or Iran though, mostly because a vast majority of the people don't truly believe the religion.

How ignorant. The number system we use is derived from the Indian (Hindu) system.

When Muslims conquered surrounding areas, they took the knowledge and inventions of the people of those areas and passed them off as their own.

The single most important invention by a Muslim was the lens, but the simple bastards couldn't think of anything to do with it and it was the Europeans who came up with a use for it in the telescope and looking glass.

I don't get why this is a religous struggle. It's not like terrorists are bombing religious symbols. They haven't bomb the Vatican, yet bombed an International Economic hub, as well as American /Canadian/Dutch/sorry whomever i forgot troops.

Frankly, i guess it's a war against christianity, but in reality, it's a war against western economic invasion.

With a religion that is so easy to manipulate people, it's easy manipulating people with no hope future or dreams, people automatically jump on the easiest conclusion.
