Wouldn't it be better to keep the progress of their good work under the radar? Wouldn't it catch a lot more sick fuckers if it was not aired?

Selling commercial space on such a program to profit is bullshit.

I don't think the point of "To Catch a Predator" is as much to "catch" predators as it is to cause positive social change and do justice.

Airing it on TV has a multiplier effect. Airing it on TV sends a powerful message. It is a popular show.

Still, some predatory sickos will continue to seek out kids. That will happen regardless. That's why the cops are there to haul 'em in.

they'll never run out of guys who would fuck willing 13 year olds. in my opinion they'd be better off getting some of the real scum out there who prey on the unwilling, but they are much harder to catch i guess.

There was an episode of the show recently where they actually had a guy show up that had showed up before. He actually told them that he thought it might be them again, but that he couldn't stop himself. There is little or no deterrent that will stop the type of people that do these types of crimes. The fear of getting caught or in trouble is far outweighed by the desire to do the crime

Those guys are tools that get caught, sit down and start chatting with Chris Hanson, calling him sir. Even though I'd get nabbed by the cops as I left, I sure as hell would not stick around when some man walks out and tells me to sit down.

And you know you're already going down for some bad shit, so if he got in my way, I'd put him down, bash a bottle over his head or something, and go out like a soldier instead of a groveling pedo.
