Epassporte : how can I quickly cancel a missent $12k transfer?

I sent $12,136 to the wrong person!

I emailed support (from my experience it's super slow, if they ever answer at all), called 1-310-301-2001 (lign busy), called one of your agents (voice message), icq'd keyser (offline).

How can we cancel this transaction quick? I'm afraid whoever received it can spend it and I will never see the money again.

My epass id is 'nophest'.

Holy crap, 12k? I hope you get that one sorted.
How can you send it to the wrong guy? Mistyped the name or what?

Ahhh, you don't, its kinda like losing your wallet in the middle of Redfern with $12k in it... and if you dont know anything about Redfern, which I assume you don't, I would Imagine it would be something like Harlem or whatever, you would be extremely lucky is all. Epass doesnt accept payments to non existing ID's. So if that person misspelled his account id right how were you able to send it in the first place. And wherever the money is, the guy who sent you the wrong ID is in the wrong, not you.

He didn't say it was non-existing. There are tons of accounts around opened by sponsors and they look something like sponsorname_wmid, where wmid can be either letters or numbers. If the guy who was supposed to receive the funds had an account named sponsorname_123456 and he accidentally said he wanted the funds sent to sponsorname_123465 then it's fully plausible that another affiliate had an account open by the same sponsor and got that specific account. In which case the money went to an existing account.

Ok fair enough. But still i think, if the money isnt recovered, its the guy's fault who gave the wrong id.

I think ePassporte should also display account owner's name (Or any dummy name which he have set) in the next step when we put in the ID. Just like egold do.

and hey, i hope you wont loose 12k ..

How can we cancel this transaction quick? I'm afraid whoever received it can spend it and I will never see the money again.

My epass id is 'nophest'.

checking epassporte right now *fingers crossed*

Assuming you have the wrong ID in writing - then it's his problem - you paid.

Next is, he'll have to wait for his money until the funds are retrieved - assuming they are. If not - he's lost his money.

This is relatively simple stuff - would hate to see him give details for a wire transfer
