Is it worth having three versions to your website. wap, high def (wide), normal?

We are discussing this for several of our sites and and the total cost would be about $2800 per site.

Would you do it?

If you can recoup the extra cost in a reasonable amount of time then yeah

Or find one solution that dynamically creates each version on the fly, somehow. IE. Sniff for useragent / http-accept and if it looks mobile, serve the wap site with a limited amount of content via tiny xhtml templates, or offer a choice to the web browser... Then you should be able to plug that one solution into any site you want. *shrug*

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE... remember that every click that you are putting between the site entrance and the checkout form ends up costing you money...
