Do You Know Anything About non disclosure agreement's ? Is it something that an attorney needs to write up or is it easy enough to do on your own?
I know non compete agreements don't hold much water in the state of California. Non Disclosure and Non Compete seem very similar to me. Is it a waste of time at the end of the day?

I know the best advice is to probbably contact an attorney but I thought it would be interesting to see what the Brilliant Minds at Gfy have to say

NDA's are signed a million times a day in mainstream every schmuck carries around 20 NDA's with them, you can just use a standard NDA and obviously change it around a bit so it makes sense for your project.

You should have an attorney write it for you. If what you are telling is important enough, then its worth the fees

Ive had to sign some with some companies Ive worked for in the past, but got out of one because it was poorly written. Basically saying I would not take their SEO and SEM secrets and go to another company which was complete BS because I have to tell them the secrets to begin with

When I worked in mainstream we were working on deal with MSN, the NDA was like 20 pages. You think we were talking about government secrets not a advertising deal.

I must of signed hundreds of letter of intents, NDA?s, Non Competes, I should be a billionaire by now just by the mount of attorneys and corporations involved, but its all bullshit, all deals I ever did that went well where hand shake deals based on trust.

Yeah you need to protect yourself etc but sometimes if the guy on the other end is not playing with a full deck all paperwork in the world wont help.
