I need a mouse that DOES NOT CLICK
well, actually a mouse that will simulate a click without me having to press a button - not sure what, probably something with infrared or some shit, like there's little thingy on top of the mouse that you cover with your finger and the mouse "clicks"
does anybody have an idea what I'm talking about? |

You might find trackballs cause more repetitive stress discomfort... but then, you may not.
It's probably best for your hand to switch up on different devices every now and then. Or just use one of those squishy balls to help out between click sessions.

Get any of the Logitech laser ones. I have MX1000 and it has buttons on the side that you can configure as a click. It feels very good in the hand too. I think they have a new one out now that's supposed to be even better.

and how about this one
  and yes, there's little "thingy" on top of the mouse that you can cover with your finger and the mouse "clicks" without having to press the button simulate clicks, and even "it" can simulate an orgasm  sorry, no infrared in this version
