To kill all misconception, I went outside and snapped a pic.

THAT is the Hollywood sign.

People get confused. Two hot and balmy states on opposite coasts...lots of fashionable and famous people. Perhaps our geography teachers are failing us???

I think my eyesight is going, i cant see Hollywood anywhere, maybe its the heat haze.

Can't find a picture of the bastard but there is a sign on the south side of the Dartford Crossing (South East London in the burbs) that says 'Crossways' of the hollywood sign ilk. Big white letters on scaffolding like stuff.

I've been wondering ever since they put it up (about 18 months ago) why they bothered to copy the Hollywood sign. Do they think that it'll make SE London seem more like LA?
