I loved Gladiator 2.. ermm i mean 300!

Anyone else feel like it was way too similar to Gladiator? Im not saying it was bad, i loved it! but it was so similar!

It did seem a lot alike, but I still liked 300. The scene that really reminds me of Gladiator is when the wife and son are in the field after King Leonidas was killed, looked a lot like a scene from Gladiator to me.

yea, they got the same scene. That's what I thought too...though I much like the ending on 300 cause its not that tragic

Well I seen a "making of" feature of this film. They showed how it was almost a scene for scene translation of the Frank Miller comic book, which I believe was released in 1998.

A quick google tells me that Gladiator was released in 2000. So I am wondering who is really copying who?

gladiator?nah....i dont like the enemies portrayed in 300. exagerated to the max.
even the six packs of the spartans, looks like its floating because of the effects
