What we have in iraq is not a real coalition, it's pretty much strictly us in combat roles, and even then it's a very small percentage that are from other countries, most of which are from the uk. If we went into Iran we would have plenty of support. Contrary to popular belief the rest of the world still needs us. People have short term memories when it comes to politics, otherwise most of europe would still be kissing our ass for WW2.
