XP Help Please

OK so I'm having a blonde moment....LOL How do you add an Inon (shortcut) to the menu bar next to the clock with the running programs? Not the other side with the quick launch stuff.

Please hook me up.

Well first of all that side is for running programs you can not add an icon there to click like you can quick launch unless you want an icon there for a certain program...

I wanna say that it all depends on the program. If it's a program that'll run in the background, then somewhere in it's options/preferences, there should be a way to enable it. I wouldn't think there'd be a way to run a program on startup if it's not made to run on startup. I could be wrong though, I'm no techie.

What program are you looking to start up ?

It used to be there, Direct CD I removed it (somehow) awhile back and now I want it back again. I did try looking for an option in the program preferences, I'll look again maybe I missed it.
