Most of you will not.

Why?

I am not sure because I don't suffer from the same affliction that many of you seem to have.

Is it brains that you are lacking? No... because I know a shitload of people in this industry making way more than I do and they still wish to marry their cousin. So it cannot be sheer brain power that you are lacking.

Is it money? No... because most of the people without a brain got into this industry without any money either.

The only thing I can think of is determination. Most of you probably day dream about what it would be like to win the lottery. How you would spend the money if you had the money. Well, you DON'T HAVE THE MONEY so therefor you don't have enough time to day dream about ways to spend it!

In other words... 98% of GFY is lazy fucks who tell their buddies about how leet they are because they went to a show and now they think Boneprone is their friend.

About thinking about the lottery... I make as much as an $8,000,000 lottery winner paid out over 20 years and taxes paid on the money (remember the lottery is a capital gain so the actual taxes paid are just under 5 0%).

So stop thinking about winning a fucking windfall of money and take it upon yourself to will yourself into making that kind of money on your own.

How? Read... Doctors, Lawyers, Bond Tradesmen, etc all make more money than you do because of one thing, they READ! They read for many years after leaving a four year college. For many, their profession requires that they continuously study while practicing their profession.

Why did you think this would be any different?

Any content producer making $1,000,000 a year didn't just inherit the job. They didn't just wake up and start making that kind of money. They made $2000 a month when they started and they learned the skills needed. They took time to get where they are. Granted they might have done this in eight years and there are not many lawyers who will ever do that in their lifetime but no one just gave it to them.

No one gave me my network of websites. In 2004 I owned only 8 domains. And I thought the prospect of buying 40 at one time was ludicrous. How would I ever be able to afford that shit? Now I buy them in blocks of 100's. But I didn't just get here because someone named V_RocKs made a thread then I sent him an ICQ and he showed me how to go from zero to hero in a week.

In fact, for me there never was a person to tell me what to do. I just figured it all out on my own. Part of knowing what to do at the 8K level is stuff you will learn getting there from the $5K level... So if I show you how to make $5K I will also need to show you $8K and then $10K and so on for eternity because you will never learn anything along the way.

Now go out there and do some trial and error. Only this time actually reflect on what you are doing. Decide what is working for you and what isn't and make adjustments. Don't ever take someones word as the word of God. Take a consensus of many opinions and then throw in what you have read and then make informed decisions.
time to put you on ignore, all respect lost

Hey V_Rocks,

Some questions for you:

1) I know you are doing blogs, are you doing any other types of sites as well?

2) Is it it better to have a few quality blogs and update them frequently or to have a large network, like hundreds which are updated more or less automatically.

3) What is your linking strategy? Do you have numerous hosting accounts that you link across?

Thanks!

I don't think laziness is just a GFY thing, it's a society thing. The economy is in the shitter and I needed something on my roof fixed. I've literally gone through 10 companies in Chicago who have either given me a run-a-round or said they weren't interested in doing it. I had one company come out, setup a time, and then never show up.

This is just one microcosm of business today. Everyone just seems to want a quick and easy buck.

The answers are always right in front of you. All you have to do is take all of the free tools ever mention on GFY and use them to figure out everyone else's business plan and go from there...

Add in some of your own flare and the next thing you know you have 5 income streams that work better than they did for the person you got them from.

Grief is a somewhat complicated and misunderstood emotion. Yet, grief is something that, unfortunately, we must all experience at some time or other. We will all inevitably experience loss. Whether it is a loss through death, divorce or some other loss, the stages of grieving are the same.

There are five stages of grief. If we get stuck in one stage or the other, the process of grieving is not complete, and cannot be complete. Thus there will be no healing. A person MUST go through the five stages to be well again, to heal. Not everyone goes through the stages at the same time. It is different for each person. You cannot force a person through the stages, they have to go at their own pace, and you may go one step forward then take two steps backward, but this is all part of the process, and individual to each person. But, as stressed, ALL five stages must be completed for healing to occur.

The five stages of grief are:

1-Denial-"this can't be happening to me", looking for the former spouse in familiar places, or if it is death, setting the table for the person or acting as if they are still in living there. No crying. Not accepting or even acknowledging the loss.

2-Anger-"why me?", feelings of wanting to fight back or get even with spouse of divorce, for death, anger at the deceased, blaming them for leaving.

3-Bargaining-bargaining often takes place before the loss. Attempting to make deals with the spouse who is leaving, or attempting to make deals with God to stop or change the loss. Begging, wishing, praying for them to come back.

4-Depression-overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, frustration, bitterness, self pity, mourning loss of person as well as the hopes, dreams and plans for the future. Feeling lack of control, feeling numb. Perhaps feeling suicidal.

5-Acceptance-there is a difference between resignation and acceptance. You have to accept the loss, not just try to bear it quietly. Realization that it takes two to make or break a marriage. Realization that the person is gone (in death) that it is not their fault, they didn't leave you on purpose. (even in cases of suicide, often the deceased person, was not in their right frame of mind) Finding the good that can come out of the pain of loss, finding comfort and healing. Our goals turn toward personal growth. Stay with fond memories of person.

Get help. You will survive. You will heal, even if you cannot believe that now, just know that it is true. To feel pain after loss is normal. It proves that we are alive, human. But we can't stop living. We have to become stronger, while not shutting off our feelings for the hope of one day being healed and finding love and/or happiness again. Helping others through something we have experienced is a wonderful way to facilitate our healing and bring good out of something tragic.

Maybe several hundreds will quit the biz very soon so there'll be less competition/saturation

Making $$$$ was so much better and easier when there were less people doing it.

no, it was easier when you could send 1000 semi-targetted uniques and make 3 sales

nothing to do with how many people did it, rather with other factors

although, yeah, surely less people = easier

if there was far less people doing it, then it would be much easier for me to do more profitable PPC SE campaigns etc

That is why I target the section of the industry I target now. Doesn't matter that they are out there... I still make my money just the same.
