Have you contacted epass about this?

What did they say?

I cannot believe you are liable for this stolen money. After reading this thread there is no way in hell I'm going to trust a place like that to handle my money.

Epass has to have a measure to handle fraud situations. There has to be a way for you to get your money back.

If epassorte can't help you with this then go over their heads. They shouldn't be in the buisness of handling transactions and holding peoples money if they aren't adequate in handling situations like these.

The fact is you're probably not the first person who has suffered fraud and you certainly aren't going to be the last.

I think all these sponsors pushing affilates towards epassorte should stop and think a minute if there is indeed no fraud protection.

I can't see anybody in their right mind keeping money there with a risk like that lingering.

Every other bank and credit card protects against this. I always thought there was some kind of mandatory guidline that made them protect agaisnt this.

well to be brutally honest this would be like if someone stole your bank card and pin number.. the bank is not liable and you would not get your money back..

the big difference is the bank would prosecute and you would be part of the process.. without persecution hackers are free to steal money at free will because they arent going to get in any trouble..

I had lost a wallet with a checkcard and creditcards in it before.

Somebody found it and used the cards before I realized I'd lost it.

I got all that money back.

If someone stole my online banking login info and transfered money. I would get the money back.

Say through a phishing email or something like that.

If you got ripped off you should be able to get your money back regardless the situation.

As long as there is a active investigation and a signed affidavit of fraud.

Thats how a bank would do it. I don't know about epass.

Hey guys we checked our database also and didn't find any such names. Good luck JFK.

I hope you find these slime balls and hang them out to dry. Maybe you could bury them up to their necks in dirt and put a little honey on their head so the ants can eat them alive.....

Epassporte is soooo shady when it comes to handling fraudulent activity. They are always more a part of the problem, rather than the solution.

Until Epass can learn how to thwart fraudulent activity, they will see $0 money from me and I will never recommend anyone opening an account with them.
