Getting laid off sucks...
I do not think there is a worse feeling.
 Whenever I was given work, it got done - and in a timely manner. Famous BS line used: "Its nothing personal. We just do not have enough work for you.". |

happen to me in the car business in the late 80's, it really sucks and my roommate was the one that had to lay me off.
