Are you using the latest version of both the encoder and the loader?

I haven't had any issues with PHP5.

What problems are you having? If it's still that freebsd (5.1 ?) problem you're having I can probably help you out. I just encountered someone else last night on freebsd and didn't have any problems.

I'd imagine you'd only experience problems if the software contains functions from php5 and the person who encoded it used the php4 settings within the ioncube encoder.

The above is just a guess and would be an encoding mistake... I'm still using php4 on my server and everything I encode is encoded for php4. I haven't tried doing it before so this is just a guess. I'd also imagine stuff encoded using php4 which does not contain any php5 functions should be backwards compatible and work just fine on php5.

If you want I'll encode something for you and send it back so we can do some tests and find the problem. You know where to find me ; - )
