I am getting pissed off.

With all the wankers and con men telling everyone how easy it is for a newbie to make money in the Adult Net.

It's not, it's hard work and requires skills, knowledge and talent.

This is 2007 and not 1997. Please stop trying to con newbies into submiiting a few galleries for you or trying to kid people you make lots of money in a few months.

Bottome line is I started a paysite with $20,000 worth of content, a few thousand for extra hosting and design and I could of bought the CMS for under $5,000. total $30,000

Most people throw it back in my face that I had $20,000 worth of content.

As if the price of a family hatch back is a lot of money for starting a business. That tells you more about the poster and how much money they have than anything else.

It's not impossible, just hard work that requires skills and talent.

20K in content is nothing and you know it . . to open a site with sex is gonna go for about $100K+ for exclusive content . . these days exclusive is turning out to be the way to go . . and the site are shooting 'in-house' . . they can hire some boob for about 35k per year. .

surfers are getting educated . . hopefully countries like china and india will start buying and be okay with content that has passed all over the net about 1,000 x's . .

not to sure the western world will continue with it. the 'net' is changing and we all know that . . . peer to peer networks are eating into the profits too, just like the music world . . .

Who fucking cares? How is a newb submitting galleries taking money out of YOUR pocket? If they were submitting YOUR galleries, you'd be kissing his ass...

Actually it was a post made by one of your affiliate support people that made me think of it.

You pay $40 a sign up and all the newbie had to do was take your galleries and submit them. Whooping fucking hell.

Here's a deal for you.

I can employ people for just under $30 a day, they will speak English, be Internet and computer literate and most will be University students looking for part time work to support them. They are in general very good workers and the alternative is working in a store stacking shelves or fast food place.

They will submit all day long or do any other tasks you decide, I will monitor them on site and you can monitor them from your office. The confirmation emails can go to you. I or you can host the galleries.

Any partner accounts that need applying for I will do it, any money needed for the PAs you will pay.

The traffic will be 100% yours.

I will pay the worker here, you will pay me $60 a day for every worker I have driving traffic for you.

OK you may not have the balls to go for it. But when I look at all the shooters here, the webcams and the offices opening here I think to myself why is no one opening an office of in house affiliates?

Because it's cheaper to pay them $40 joins a day. In fact if your sites were so good I don't need you, I could do it without you. Problem is I know how well submitting galleries works and I know why it's mostly out of house as far as newbies are concerned.

You only know how it works for you. I have always done quite well with galleries, even now paying a decent amount each month for passes and paid spots.

Just because it hasn't worked for you doesn't mean that it doesn't work.

Wanton my paysite proves it does not need to be exclusive. The number of times I would sell a set to saturate it would make Eva and I very rich.

They may be able to hire a noob for $35,000 but not me. You get what you pay for in this business. And for the money I was offered for exclusive I chose to go my route and earn more money, you chose to go your route.

I can get a noob for a lot less than $35,000 and shoot under my guidance we could be churning out exclusive 5 days a week and beat anything a noob on $3,000 a month in the US will churn out. Except for language.

Do you know that's not such a bad idea. Would pay a dam site more than driving traffic and as you point out a lot easier. Thanks for the idea.

I can get a kid in the studio, few weeks training and start her shooting for clients from $1,000 a day including the models money. I have access to 100 models, 30 locations in the studio, no end of other locations. I pay the model $500, the shooter is on $50 a day. I make $450 or more for doing very little.

I make good money sitting on my backside. Do you want to compete with a shooter trained by me turning out solo girl work for $200 a scene?

Hey pimple puppy, you won't go for the affiliate deal, but how about a shooter shooting solo girl sets and videos for $200 a scene? You do not get me for that, I'm too slow and too old to speed up. Plus I shoot solo girl for $1,000 a scene minimum. But a noob kid trained by me?

I failed at gallery submitting already 3 years ago

I know I wouldn't be able to reach 1 sale per day even if my life depended on it

completely not my thing

to everyone making a good living from submitting, especially in 2007

You are the exception not the rule and good for you. Are you a sponsor?

Think like a business man for a minute please.

Do you think all the sponsors would be offering affiliates so much money if they could do it cheaper in house?

Now feed in the problems with 2257, open an office in EU, in the new Eastern Sector it's cheap. Make it a main office and hey presto 2257 goes out the US. Fill it with guys on $30 a day driving traffic 8 hours a day. Traffic the sponsors owns 100%. Anything over 2 sign up a day and it's getting close to profit margins if not into profit.

How many sponsors can you name with in house affiliates on any scale?

Business practices evolve because they are the most profitable. Don't come up with you have to be in the US to drive traffic either, the number of non US guys will laugh out loud.

Let's see how many take me up on the affiliate deal and how many take me up on the shooter deal.

It will prove me right or wrong.

But you can bet there will be a lot of guys wiggling out from being honest.

Trey, do we have a deal?

I have seen the most untalented people make it huge lol really i think timing, hard work are the huge factors too. By working hard you will put yourself more likely in the right place when timing comes around.

Only recently did I purchase the program in my sig. Before that, I spent most of my time submitting galleries. There are plenty of people on this board who make VERY GOOD money submitting galleries as affiliates. You're not going to get anywhere just submitting these days. You MUST have a host of partner accounts. You MUST pay for submit passes. You MUST pay for guaranteed placements.

ANYONE can do this granted the have the funds to get started...just like any business. Like scottybuzz, it's also VERY possible to do all this with nothing, just know that you're not going to be making much more than "beer money".

It takes money to make money.

I'd guess that most of the sponsor programs rely on IN HOUSE traffic over affiliate traffic. Affiliate traffic is like icing on an already tasty cake.

Arguing, debating or whatever you want to call it with you is pointless...because you just don't understand this game at all. Sorry but with each thread you post, you make youself look even more foolish.

No one will take you up on your offer because it's not worth dealing with someone who thinks they know everything, when in fact they know nothing at all.

It was just a crappy $300 batch from BB..... but I don't expect that.

You would be surprised. I talk to many program owners that for some reason refuse to compete with their affiliates.

There you go, not less then $500 a month is what an affiliate boasts about.

I think a more honest approach to newbies would be better.

Tell them that with some hard work and application they can get to $500 a month. That is why most sponsors avoid in house traffic generation. It's cheaper to have guys like you on $500 a month. An in house guy would cost more.

Still don't see Trey offering me a deal.

If I know so little can you offer an explanation why I've lasted so long and make so much money?

Or is it that you don't need to know a lot ot make money in this business?

I send out one Newsletter a week. I'm usually very good at answering questions on the content store, assuming it gets through.

Hit me up again and no URL in the text, in fact add me before you send.

Will try to get hold of you.

Just found your record on our DB. Checks with your ICQ, name and nick name. Don't see a purchase for $300.

In fact all I see is $38 back in 2005.

Thanks for being honest.

I could be wrong, but I got the impression he was going to spend $300 but changed his mind because of your attitude.

Do you think they do it because the in house are cheaper and a better alternative than outside affiliates, or the other way around?

Maybe they run the big expensive programs for affiliates because they like giving money away, or maybe it's because as an affiliate has already posted $500 a month is a figure to tell everyone?

By telling affiliates it's a tough game, needs to be worked and studied hard and needs time to build. Plus in the end you will always be a cheaper alternative than opening up your own own in house generation of traffic. And you need to have money to invest. You're being more honest.

Then only those prepared to put in the sweat and labour will take it on. It's this constant painting a picture that it's easier than it is, that pisses me off. Like a lot of snake oil salesmen selling a wonder drug.

Paul, you are missing the best quality of affiliates over employees. Employees perform the tasks you tell them to do. Affiliates come up with their own ideas!
