Do any of you guys have a widescreen monitor?

I have this 21" Sony CRT monitor here. I have been thinking of getting a new monitor, one of those nice flatscreen, widscreen monitors. Do any of you guys have one and if so which one would you recommend?

My best friend bought two V7 R22W02 22" widescreens. They look fantastic, especially for the price (He got them for around $214 each from Staples). Personally I'm still a fan of CRT monitors and I am going to be completely bummed when this ViewSonic goes out. I love CRTs, especially for gaming, can't stand to game on a LCD. My LCD I use for everything else though, I love how it is so light and easy to move.

If you want to buy something I think you should buy an Lcd from Phillips .I've heard that they have invented this type of screen and the best Lcd's are from them

pesh! Get dual 19" s for work, but get a seperate big screen for gaming and tv

If you do a lot of graphic work though, CRT's have more true colour than most cheaper tft screens. It's one of those things, if u need the best u gotta pay for the best.

Thats what I have. I love my Dual Screens. Would only swap them for a 30 inch widescreen.

I used a 24" wide Dell for my main monitor in a 6 monitor array. It is the FPW2407, I stuck with my CRTs for as long as I could, but they started to die and I knew it was time. This Dell is amazing though, vibrant natural colors, minimal blurring with movement. They use Samsung TFT panels which are very highly rated.

Yeah, my desk is kinda messy right now

I have the Dell 24" as well. So does one of my designers. We both love it.

My HTML looks so much prettier now. All fitting on one line.
My stats and reports all fit a lot better.

It's really awesome. Anyone working on something smaller is missing productivity. Worth the 500.00

I'm thinking of getting another one and putting them together.

At home I use a 55" wall mounted plasma as my monitor.

Viewsonic Ultrabrite A90f+ for graphics & Samsung SyncMaster 931BW for spreadsheets and surfing.

CRTs can do fractions of colors and LCDs are 1/0 (on or off).

I have a Dell 20.1 wide with a 17" on either side and it works out well. Dell has some great wide screens and they aren't an arm and a leg.

I started with a HP 19'' but recently upgraded to a 22'' Samsung SyncMaster 226BW and I love it.

I have a Dell widescreen. Can't recall the exact dimensions, but it is slightly under 21".

I've been very happy with it.

I was looking at getting at Widescreen monitor when my 25" CRT died, but I couldn't afford the lettuce, so I just got a standard Viewsonic 19" LCD

Ya, I've heard of 'ghosting' effects on flatscreens when playing games. Do any of you guys with flatscreens notice this?
