I am currently looking to for any recommendations you may have (affordable) for someone like me who is interested in producing content as far as some sort of ID verification.

Do you use some sort of scanner to document your I.D.s presented (what ones are good)?

Also what is required in the U.S.? 2 or 3 photo I.D.s?

I have alot of questions Im sorry just looking to do this right and figured I would try to get some answers here.

www.ChadKnowsLaw.com As far as ID verification 1 piece of government issued id is what is required. You CAN get more, but it should not be included in your 2257 records. Some state ids show differently under a black light. I have a little dye detector penlight I use that is used normally for checking auto airconditioning leaks after you put a dye in it, but talk to a lawyer.

Only works on some state ids, so no biggy there. Its just a dye detector light.

Oh ,ok cool well I have heard about the (ID scanners) but from what I see they are pretty costly and also I dont know how well they do or dont work so...

Thats why I made this thread to try and get some feedback on some of them out there

Im pretty sure your lawyer would draw up your model release with some sort of wording that by signing the release the model states she is the age on her id etc.

I have faith that as long as I have a good scanner and the proper things in place (no worries)...

I would like the expense down to a dull roar until I get situated in the cash flow

I figure a good cam is an investment so why not a scanner?

I have a newer Epson Scanner.... I use it to copy their DL/ID and usually their SS Card. Makes a good tax reference also
