Best free/paid anti-spam filter service.

Spam Assassin just isn't doing good enough on some of my existing major e-mail addresses.

I'd rather not make my associates type in a captcha to send me an e-mail. But its gotten to that point. After over a decade, the amount of spam i receive at my main business e-mail is OUT OF CONTROL.

So what are my options, i need something secure, so that I'm logging in & checking my mail (via web-mail) or (pop3) but over a ssl connection etc.

Please make sure to leave any suggestions here, & ref codes if they have an affiliate program & you want to make a couple bucks.

Gracias

I get like 400-500 a day, easy

outlook just throws them into a spam folder and sort through them later

Are you just using it "out of the box" so to speak? Or have you taken the time to put in some custom filters... I use Spam Assassin with my own rules etc. and it does a decent job.. Still have to keep the rules up to date though.

I'm getting 4-5k a day....& don't have the time to sort through 1,000's

I've already setup massive spam filtering in thunderbird, its just not enough

It blocks out 8,000+ a day, but i still get 4-5k ones that pass my extensive block lists.

So i guess I'm going to spam arrest

I'm using CA Anti-Spam blocker and its the best by far. it scans your sent list and approves those people right away. then you can adjust the levels of what you want to block. then every time something new comes in it will list them and you can approve the ones that are good. it keeps them all in a folder so you can go in and check just to make sure before deleting them. after a week or so it's letting only what you want through and the one or 2 new ones that come in are easy to approve or block. i haven't had any problems with it and for $30 you can put it on 3 PC's .. check it out http://shop.ca.com/spam/spam_blocker.aspx

holy shit, I just turn off that email address when that happens

I have gone through so many email addresses

just set up an autoresponder to tell people to resend the email to [email protected]
