in 2 years, they will be banned by visa fact forget tgps and movie posts and free sites etc. free content will be banned by the govt. there will be a porncard issues by visa and the other major cc companies that will be prepaid that will be issued upon request by the end user that can only be used to join high risk websites IE gaming, porn, cam and possibly even dating. you heard it here first. anyone that got in now or are intending too, you might awell give up because the money has been made, and our revenues will be cut by 75% over night. causing only revshare to be an option and no more pps. you'll see

btw, this will not effect current customers that are rebilling or already registered users of your site, thats the only good news.

uhm...if I'm not mistaking we heard the same story a few years ago...
I do believe that rebills as they are now will go. Visa will come up with some kind of system on wich you need to confirm your membership every month instead of automatic rebilling or will ban the whole rebill thing all together. |

We are not the masters of rebilling ,mainstream has us beat by a mile. Ever have a gym membership or a aol account? If Visa said good bye tomorrow, then porn buyers would use another cc or a check.

My guess would be that SMS billing may get bigger at that point, instead of Visa issuing a separate porn-CC.

I think the way rebills are handled will change and visa will make it tougher and tougher for new companies to get merchant accounts, but I don't see Visa just out and out banning paysites, etc.
