Good news if they can pull it off but I really don't see how they will be able to do it. People will find a way to circumvent it lol.

Right, it's about the message. If a really big company like AT&T steps up, many hosts and upstream providers will think twice if they want to do business with torrent sites, filehosts and other shady customers...

They will be lowering their overhead and raising their profit by legal content distribution increasing.

I'm wondering if they will be open to legal action if they only choose to block some copyright content from being transferred though.

Encryption will also make it impossible to know what's copyright content...
