CCBILL + .htaccess + new site + multiple folders = ?
hey there.. setting up a site for a buddy and ccbill is telling us that i can only protect one file using their stuff.. this guy wants to have his ebooks and video in 1 folder and members in another.. i think he should have both protected.. ccbill tells me they only do one.. how can protect multiple folders for him but still be able to access with the ccbill user name and pass?

I don't see why it shouldn't be possible, the "AuthUserFile" directive in Apache references a full path and filename, which means you should be able to use it more than once.
Here's an example, you would place this in .htaccess in both directories you wish to protect. AuthName "member area" AuthType Basic AuthUserFile /path/to/htpasswd require valid-user |

when they do the install just copy the .htaccess that they put in the members directory to the ebook directory as well
