People who advertise on torrent sites and get traffic from them help fund the torrent sites, which gives access to tons of stolen content and fucks a lot of people here.

If you come into my house and try to rob me but you do not display a deadly weapon and I grab a knife and stab you then I have committed a crime, but then again even this scenario does not apply to every state, but most I think.

if everyone stopped funding torrent sites (buying ads from them) then most of them including all the bigger ones would shut down. That's a fact. I am speaking about the USA but their are still a few states that allow one to defend property with deadly force, at least I think this is still the case. Most will only allow deadly force to be used when confronted with deadlyforce no matter what one is defending.

Where are you located? Question: when confronted with a deadly weapon, which a bat is, and you respond with the use of a deadly weapon, how is that considered to be an escalation? Logically, in any coutry, that would seem to be meeting deadly force with deadly force, at least to me.

I actually thought in the US (any state) if someone just breaks into your house you can kill them legally. Inside your house fair game, outside your house then you need to be able to defend why you did what you did.

In some states I believe that you can still kill them, but in most you cannot, unless you are confronted with deadly force. It actually used to be, in most states, that you could defend your property inside or outside your house, with deadly force.

It's been happening since BBS days, and noone was making cash of it then. The cash is a perk - and there are thousands of private torrent sites without banners.

I had intended to start promoting DatingGold again (over Fling) to see if it would perhaps create more revenue on my sites. Given, I don't have much traffic and I'm sure you wouldn't notice myself, my traffic, or the paltry sum of conversions I could generate. Regardless, I'm quite sure I will abandon this idea and stay with Fling.

The torrent problem aside, I understand that DatingGold, as a business, must make a multitude of business decisions -- however unpopular they may be to others. As the owners and operators of your establishment, it is certainly your first priority to keep your business afloat and profitable. However, I don't feel this excuses posts such as this one. You reap what you sow, gentlemen, and I don't believe this is the way to handle it.
