Sponsor Selling Webmaster Emails or NATS Security Problems? - GoFuckYourself.com

Enough is enough I am sick and tired of getting 1000+ spam emails a day to emails I've used for one thing only.

So is it all these sponsors selling webmaster emails or is it the software they use?
One thing a lot of them have in common is that they use NATS could be a coincidence but I doubt it.

This is not a complete list I have more sponsors to add I am only halfway through my spam folder for this update of my spam list.

Micael,

A large number of those programs are not on NATS. NATS installs far out number the installs of other 3rd party affiliate programs out there so you may see a larger proportion of NATS sponsors but a lot of those programs are not NATS sponsors.

You've posted these accusations a number of times and frankly I'm getting tired of it. I don't think your bosses would appreciate me making unfounded accusations about epassporte and I doubt they'd like you making unfounded possibly libelous accusations about us.

I posted it twice first time was after contacting you a long time ago.
These are only a some of the programs I have blocked emails from I am still working on others.
Are you saying there are no security problems with NATS?

There may be, there may not be. We are not aware of any. If you can show me one it will be immediately fixed.

You singled us out when a large number of programs in that list are non-NATS. Whether you are posting on your own behalf or on Epassporte's behalf you are still representing them here. If an employee of mine was making blanket statements about Epassporte I would be speaking with them as if it were us making those statements and possibly letting them go.

1) I don't care if I get fired or reprimanded for saying how I feel. I have always and will always speak my mind.
2) I still have the ICQ logs from when we talked last year about it.

uhmm im getting used to it though but its fucking annoying.. i use a single email for my sponsors mpa3/ccbill/nats mixed up.. but still getting tons of those bullshit spam.. don't you ever think spammers are more intelligent right now? they can even send out emails eventhough you don't have email in that domain.. ehh well, fuck spam!

it happens to me twice as often with nats sponsors also .. so its a logical thing to question.

2. Are there any nats programs you've signed up to that you DIDN'T get spam emails from?

If there's non nats spams on there too, it is possible you have an exploit on your end.

It is most likely a combination of people selling email lists and servers in general being hacked. Due to the much higher install base of NATS it becomes perceived that there are so many more NATS programs. The fact is that there are just so many more of them out there.

A web server was hacked. We don't maintain any user/pass info for clients in our office let alone on servers, especially that one. Its a very old server that still hosts our website.

i does not like nats as affiliate because i registered in about 50 programs nats based.

for clean situation - nats are great software for run affiliate programs. my personal relation to any software are subjective. dont try make me guilty in something just because i like my own scripts. nats beated mp2/mp3 by number of affiliate programs who using this software - so it another one example what it good enough and usable.

here some moments unclean in this thread so i trying figure them for myself. like Michael O ;) these questions not related to companies what we represent here - only for personal information.

thats not how market share works

market share wouldn't make me have twice the spams from nats sponsors as other sponsors.

heres how i test sponsors email leaks.

[email protected]

impossible to be "guessed" i.e. any spams that get sent to those emails means the sponsor was compromised or sold the list. if the exploit was on my end or my email then all the accounts would recieve emails.

i did 5 nats sponsor that way . 4 of them i get spams too
i did 7 sponsors non-nats same way 1 gets spams

an accusation is "NATS DID IT" a question is "NATS SECURITY PROBLEM?"

note the question mark at the end of the statement implies its a question

like i said dont get your panties in a bunch..

for the record i dont think it has anything to do with nats..

otherwise i would be getting spams to all 5 nats sponsors i signed up with ( or one wasnt compromised )

either way i dont think its a nats problem..

Install a good spam management client like Mailwasher Pro. You'll keep getting spam anyway, so best to just deal with it.

I doubt 100% that a program will sell the affiliate emails.. And if they did, it would be to someone who sells hosting, scripts, etc... not to a porn company selling the same thing the affiliate is.

Common sense here.

So it is hacking... Those programs are losing their lists somehow.

Yea it's becoming fucking bullshit. I'm about to have to change my webmaster E-mail addy because of all the spam. I'd say 1% of the e-mails I get are legit.

I think this shows very clearly what NATS response to a suspected problem is.

They scream nothing is 100% then when a very likely problem arises do nothing about it. John was asking why people post about the problem on GFY and not send emails?

How do we know no one has sent an email before now?

Seems logical someone would of, as much as we like to kid ourselves GFY is not the centre of the Adult Net. Lots of big programs and sponsors never post here.

I have contacted a few of them.
