Time for Vista yet?
I was in the beta testing program last year, found that software and driver support was a pain in the ass. 64 bit drivers were hard to come by and several of my older programs didn't work at all. But overall even it beta it was a nice looking and very stable OS.
I think now most software has adapted and released versions compatible with Vista, not sure about the 64 bit compatibility with drivers but I imagine most manufacturers are up to the ball on that one now. Anyone here run it? Any other pros or cons? |

I run it without any problems whatsoever.
I dont use any real odd software, just the usual stuff and it works just fine. I prefer it over XP for sure. |

Which version did you go with? Wondering if there's any real advantages to getting the business or ultimate editions or if home premium does everything as well.
I don't notice any difference between my copies of XP, XP media center, XP professional. I'm guessing I probably wouldn't in Vista either. |

I had a bit of trouble networking Vista with an XP Home box, but other than that it works as well as XP for me.
