I bought a domain for a client of mine, and they were the person's Registrar. the person who sold the domain, did their job, and it is in my name etc. But it seems that NameSecure does not allow transfers to other Registrar's, or if they do it is hidden. After about 5 e-mails, I received the same auto response back, and the phone support is nothing but a message.
I cannot transfer the domain to my client until I know its in a secure Registrar. Anyway the clock is ticking |

Namesecure's still around eh? I made a ton of money off their affiliate program back in 99/00 when they were the first registrar to offer two years of registration for the price of one at the then standard market rate ($70/2 years)... good times...
