I've owned this domain name for years and the type-in traffic is steady and strong and reliable even when the traffic isn't forwarded to anything at all. Type-in traffic is a permanent fixture to domain names (with type-in traffic).

The traffic also tends to increase when the name is directed to content. Bonus!

NOBODY who knows anything about domain names uses those estimators for anything other than very rough estimates. Those tools are frequently way, way off. Glad you already knew this! Type-in traffic can only be determined by counting the type-in traffic. The ultimate is when you have a trusted third party keeping track for both the buyer and the seller.
