Best Music Player

I just formatted and installed a new OS and I'm in the process of getting all my software back together.

Please tell me what music players you use on your computer. At the moment, I've tried Winamp and Itunes.

I'm a long time winamp user, but I just install itunes and it looks kinda nice.

Does winamp have something similar to the album artwork thing? I'm kinda liking that.

I like iTunes on Windows and OSX.

Rhythmbox is a great Linux alternative. Very similar to iTunes.

If you have a huge mp3 library and want something that uses a real database designed for music only, then Helium Music Manager takes some beating. It?s the only piece of software that will display albums and their front images in true dbase style.
Winamp has got itself too involved outside of being just a music manager and looks a real mess when you hit it with 1000 + albums.
ITunes and all the other crap hooked to the web are designed for the wash and go crew.

Helium in action with 3422 albums (23954 files)

Thanks. That's more along the lines of what I was looking for.

I'm currently checking out Songbird, but it's still in beta. I'm definitely going to give Helium a shot though.

No doubt: Winamp 2.91 & 2.93
Actually these are those that doesn't crash with Midi

Unluckily they don't support 5+1

I'm really liking this Helium thing so far.

I just wish it could automatically grab all the album covers and track information based on the file name. So far I'm having to do everything one by one.
