I agree with the thread starter. This is something I think about often.
Kings and Pharoahs and Emperors from 500+ years ago would have paid an enormous fortune to live the kind of life a middle class person lives today. We can fly to the other end of the world in a day. People spend $200 million on a movie just to entertain us for 2 hours. From a historical perspective our lifestyle is pretty awesome. |
