There have been two high profile strikes in the UK lately. Yesterday the prison officers went out on a flash strike and there have been off and on again postal strikes for a bit.

I have never been on strike mainly because I moved into this industry at a fairly early stage in my employment life. My mother is a teacher and they were on strike a few times in my youth.

Have you ever been on strike and what was the reason for the strike?
