My Laptop...Sounds Like a dirtbike race is going on inside?

Looks like ill be pickin up a new lappy on BLack Friday ...the one i bought last year is starting to sound like a dirtbike race track inside...any suggestions?

It's probably a fan, but possibly your hard drive or your dvd/cd-rom. With a little bit of help from google, some handy-work and a little bit of luck, you should be able to fix this yourself for a fraction of the price a shop would charge you. Unless it's still under warranty, which even then it will take awhile to get it back.

The fan on this comp is fucked. Though it's been like this for about 2 months, and i've still not got round to getting it fixed...

Shitty.

I've got a gateway laptop with a noisy fan in it... it's been that way for a while, no clue how to crack it open to fix it though. Might have to try a repair shop one of these days.
