First album I ever bought was KISS "Love Gun", although a friend (a few years older than me) had given me the first three KISS albums.

I was about 7 or 8 at the time, and mom and dad were die hard "If it ain't country, it ain't music" types. I somehow talked mom into letting me get it. I think with money from my birthday or Christmas.

First record I ever bought... hmm... I think it was one of those K-Tel records from the early 70's, "Dynamite" or something like that.

First album I ever bought was the Stones double greatest hits.

I'll go you one further. The first 8-TRACK I ever owned was Creedence Clearwater Revival greatest hits. :D

Wha??? Who even makes rock? Good god woman. Electronic music is just fake BS. Take a look around, great rock music is still out there just not on the radio.

Besides that the First tape I had recorded - my very fist copyright infridgment was Iron Maiden from one side and Metallica on the other, can't remember the albums though.

I guess those were "No Prayer for the dying" from IM and the 88 Metallica album with "The One" on it, am retarded in the morning can't get the name.

But I played that over n over n over n over, I can remember those golden metal moments playing that on my grandmothers casette player back in the room with my older cousins who all had long hair and jeans jackets..
