Home theather of the year 2007

With a high-horsepower stereo system and a hell-bent home theater, this Texas tornado unleashes pure audio/video fury.

Those CAT audio systems are crazy. I remember seeing them advertising a couple tower speakers for $80,000 and they were acting like it was some sort of great bargain. I can just imagine what an entire system like that would cost.

That is ridiculous....I spent less than $75k for all of the A/V stuff in my Home Theater and I will put it up against just about anything.............

I believe when it comes to Home Audio/Video/Automation you can spend as much as you want but the law of diminishing returns kicks in and says just because you spent more money does not make it a better product.

HAHAHA!!! Well, to tell the truth I did not take the pic. My decorator had the house professionally photographed for use in contests and magazines and shit and she chose that. I thought it was a bit ridiculous too. I could have thought of 1,000 better shots to use.

Of course not....it was sarcasm....read the quote "Superior Performance through Superior Marketing". Meaning, that the stuff sucks, but because they have done such a good job marketing it people think it is better and pay more for it. I would never buy anything with a Bose logo on it.

I totally understand your opinion. For example, many of my friends spend insane amounts of money on cars. That has never been my thing. I dont hate them for it...it is what they like to do. I, however, like to have a nice home with all the tricks. It is my thing.
