Consent form to view porn at work.
A friend of mine works at an online video/music content distribution company. And they just recently purchased a company that also distributes adult content. And now their employees may be exposed to this content when that was not part of their original job. So she's looking for some kind of consent form for their employees so they don't get sued for sexual indecency / harassment or whatever might arise from this. Anyone got anything like this?

Have your friend hold a manditory meeting of all employees.
Then announce "we are now selling adult material that employees must handle and thus possibly veiw it. If this offends you then you must resign today at this very moment or you consent to these new circumstatnces. I will now give 15 minutes for all who want to resign to leave the property. Your final check will be mailed to you last address listed with the company." Not a single fucking person will get up and leave.

Nice. I'm sure they'll have some sort of meeting like this. But I think they're really just looking to cover their asses legally. And that requires some documented proof of consent. For current and new employees. I've never heard of any cases of it becoming a legal issue. But its always good to cover your bases.

Yeah, most the employees don't have to work with the content. They just may be exposed to it inadvertently. So they really just want their employees to be made aware of it. And if anyone has a reasonable objection to being exposed to it, the special arrangements will be made to make sure they will not be exposed. Its just a small part of the profits and should not affect the daily lives of all the employees to the point where they need to leave if they are not comfortable with it.

I think they should call the FBI in to sort it out - its the only way to be sure.

That's a good idea since there's case law in California that deems systemic/routine exposure to adult material as part of a "hostile work environment" in a sexual harassment claim.
