will Etrade go bankrupt?! NO CAT CONTENT IN HERE

should i buy or what

some are saying they wont go bankrupt, and Etrade says they will even have a high profit margin within the next few weeks

what would you guys suggest

Honestly, I haven't followed the online broker wars for a while.

Given the overall economy, I am not convinced that etrade would be a good buy. They are also lagging well behind other firms with larger volumes and numbers of accounts.

When TD and Ameritrade merged, I think they set the benchmark for level of expectations among online brokers.

I don't know how profitable the investment sector can be with a falling dollar, stagnating economy and general anxiety from large institutional investors and other countries like China.

If I had the money to toss at it and consider it a calculated gamble, I might do it. But if you're counting on that money down the road, I would hesitate.

Two cents that probably isn't worth half a cent.
