I should say that I'm kind of a 'GM guy' - my dad has worked at GM for 30+ years. GM paid for my education.. my food, my clothing, everything we had as a family when i was growing up. You learn from a young age to covet the corvette.. it's engrained in me.. almost genetic :P

I've always liked corvettes too. When I was just a kid my family lived in Flint Mich. and I remember my older brother bugging my Dad to get a corvette. He ended up getting a new 1964 Impala SS with every option available instead. Back then it was all about the Corvette.

Only 2 blocks from where I took the Veyron pics I found this 1953 Corvette sitting at a gas station the next day. A prime example of what the present day Corvette has evolved from
