...didn't sound like only galleries. So all of the affiliate linking codes will still be there? If a surfer signs up to the oroginal site (whatever it may be) the program and original affiliate are credited?

well there are some FHGs as well, it was impossible to filter it out only to submitted galleries.
But again we are not charging for the content, we dont own the content, we dont host it.

as explaned in the first post, the results on all and only FIST pages, for every category can be viewed for free (except the last row)
so basicly 20 galleries per category can be viewed for free, if the surfer likes the site and wants all the results he will have to pay

My only concern is that porn doesn't seem to really be a price sensitive item. Once you've convinced the surfer to pull out a credit card, it really doesn't matter if it's for $4.95 or $29.95.

Actually this is the same idea I was kicking around about 5 years ago, but for different reasons. My thought has always been that my tgp's will be the first to get nailed if and when the govt. decides to REALLY come after porn on the net. Free sites will be the first target to "protect the children".
So the obvious thing to do would be to turn your tgp into a very cheap paysite.
I like the search engine idea too.
And don't let the skeptical people on here discourage you. Marketing is all about presenting the "meal" in different ways. Yes, there are some people who will pay $4.99 a month to have a convenient porn portal. And yes, of course they don't have to pay.
But a lot of people will. The concept being that you are going to provide a better and "safer" way to find free porn since you are a paid service.
That's the way I would market it.
These days with all the trojans, viruses, and ad and spyware...that feeling of security means a lot to the surfer.
It's how I've made a lot of money with my tgp's. I developed a relationship with surfers over the years. They know that I personally look at everything on my site as opposed to all the sites out there that run on "automatic pilot".
Your search engine idea can work the same way...IF you make sure you have quality control. If you just sit back and let the spider do all the work without human verification of those galleries...then you will lose that surfer confidence the first time they get slammed by pop ups, redirects, and viruses.
So make sure you surf your search engine yourself. Scripts and spiders aren't enough to catch all the tricky shit. It takes a set of human eyes.

Explain how this is different for affiliates from a promotional standpoint than the old AVS systems were. Because as I see it what you have here is an AVS. The only real difference is that instead of taking submissions, you are going out and collecting links yourself.
