I have enjoyed the first year of my marriage more than the decades of running around with drunk whores who do not care whether you live or die the day or the next.

Having just buried my grandfather this week, i guess im a bit focused on living, but im glad at this time in my life im not just some drunk college-age "dood" broing it up with the guys and trying to fuck some piece of ass who will not stand with you at a funeral for a loved one.

I have a bad habit of when I'm done with a relationship, I'm done. I can be rather cold about it too. The woman I dated for three years before I met my wife I had dated for three years and we about to get engaged. We had a fight about something I've long since forgotten about, and I told her "If you walk out that door you'll never be allowed back in my life". She walked out; I walked out of the relationship but she kept trying to patch things up.

When I got divorced, I got to keep our son and bedroom furniture. He got to keep the business we started and grew together, which he proceeded to run into the ground. We were ordered to share marital debt which I ended up having to pay 100% of or risk ruining my credit. Now he doesn't pay taxes or child support and the legal system is no help whatsoever. This mode of thinking that the woman gets to "keep everything" is totally inaccurate and unfair. In my case, it turned out to be the reverse.
