Wordpress experts - please help - GoFuckYourself.com

So I've been teaching myself how to use wordpress and build themes and what not but there's something bugging me I can't figure out.

Anyone around I can ask a quick question on MSN or ICQ? Please!

Okay well it's kind of hard to explain but let me try.

The main page body that displays the content from "The Loop" is broken up in a table. The first column has a picture, then the second column has the text. This is fine on the main page, but when someone goes to the single post (single.php) template and there's more text, instead of continuing down in two columns I want the text to wrap in to another row that spans both columns.

If that makes sense.
